William B. Logan & Permelia Neese/Neece

William Logan was the son of Rueben Logan. I have been given information as to Reuben's father, but I have not verified it and therefore, am not yet putting it on this web page. The town of Logan in southwestern Missouri, Lawrence Co., was named for William Logan who helped bring the railroad to the town. It is barely a town now, just a little bit off I-45 if you are passing that way. There was once a Logan Brothers store in Logan and the Logans had fruit orchards in the area. The fruit was shipped via the railroad. William was born July 31, 1814 in Lincoln Co., TN. He died May 19, 1877 in Lawrence Co., MO. This is a picture of the Logan brothers. What I don't have or misplaced is the key to who is who. Can you help?

I am confident that the front row, bottom left, is James B. Logan, my ancestor. This is based on other pictures from the same time period and what appears to be the injury to his left hand.
